Weight restriction ~100lbs

Service requirements.

I must have access to flat ground with enough room to park my SUV and mobile grooming trailer. I do not need access to electricity or water, as the unit is entirely self-sufficient. You must be present at home during the time of service (existing clients can arrange a key-service). If using a key-service, please have your dog in a crate or put in a room so I can safely retrieve them for their appointment.

No disruptions.

In order for me to safely care for your pet, please do not disrupt the grooming process. Sudden noises, knocking, or even hearing their owner talking can cause a dog to move suddenly while sharp objects are being used in close proximity to their bodies. This could result in injury.

If you have children, please keep them inside and away from the mobile unit to ensure your pets safety.

No-show fees.

Due to the influx of no-shows, all appointments must be confirmed for me to drive to your location. Tardiness more than 15-minutes after the scheduled appointment time is considered a no-show and will have to be rescheduled as it will interfere with my appointments after.

First no-show fee will result in 50% charge of scheduled service, second no-show fee is 100% charge of scheduled service, and third no-show is 100% charge and termination.

All fees must be paid before another appointment is made.

Cancelations.

I understand that life happens and sometimes appointments must be cancelled/rescheduled. I require a 48-hour notice for a cancellation or there will be a $50 fee. This allows me more time to fill your appointment slot with another pet who needs grooming. In cases of emergencies, I understand.

Habitual cancellations may be billed (50% of the scheduled service cost) and the invoice must be paid before rescheduling another appointment.

Aggression restrictions.

At this time, I am unable to accept aggressive dogs as clients. If the groom becomes too unsafe to complete due to behavioral or health complications, I will refer you to a vet groomer.

I am willing to work with pets who do not tolerate certain things (e.g., nipping for nails), but I cannot accomdate unpredictable aggression. Since I am working alone in a confined space, it is safest for both myself and the pet to go to somewhere that can better accommodate their needs. Please disclose all behavioral concerns.

Vaccination records.

Your pet(s) vaccines must be up to date (as required by law) in order to book a grooming appointment (unless your pet has a veterinary exemption due to a medical condition). Please provide proof of vaccination records when you complete the intake forms for new clients.

Behavioral disclosures.

Any and all known behaviors of your pet must be disclosed before the time of service. I am willing to work with dogs who have adversities (e.g., must be muzzled or have a cone on to trim nails), but I am unable to work on dogs who are unpredictably aggressive as I work alone in the unit.

Please be as transparent as possible to ensure the safety of both your pet and the groomer.

Elderly pet disclosure.

Owners of senior pets must understand that the grooming process can become more stressful for pets as they age and come with new risks (e.g., seizures). I will ensure your pets safety and inform you of any abnormalities in their condition and/or behavior.

In the case of comfort grooms, I am more than willing to work with your pets needs and provide them helpful accommodations to make their experience as safe and comfortable as possible. The owner must understand that the quality of the haircut could be affected by their pets ability to tolerate the grooming process.

Grooming may expose pre-existing health conditions for which Juno’s Mobile Grooming, LLC cannot be held liable.

Double-coated shave downs.

I do not recommend shaving double-coated breeds (e.g., golden retrievers, huskies, Pomeranians, and so on) as it damages the coats natural ability to insulate and regulate your pets body temperature. Clipping these coats too short can result in clipper alopecia.

I do not feel comfortable shaving down a double-coated breed unless it’s for any of these reasons:

  • the integrity of the coat is already damaged

  • comfort groom on an elderly dog (or other medical conditions) who can’t stand for grooming as long or frequently

  • if the coat is pelted with matting and there is no other option

Matted pet policy.

I do not offer de-matting services as it is an incredibly painful and long process. I believe in “humanity over vanity,” the safety and comfort of your pet is my top priority. I will not prioritize haircut preferences over the well-being of your pet.

Shaving pelted matting comes with more risks of nicks, injury, hematoma, irritation, hot spots, and so on. Sometimes removing excessive matting can reveal hidden concerns. Matting is entirely preventable and maintaining the coat at home is up to the pet parent. I am not responsible for any problems that may occur as a result of preforming a shave-down.

Excessive matting will result in additional fees as it takes more time and precision to safely remove, dulls my equipment, and requires a pre-shave before the groom.
